My client is an Underwriting/MGA company that has grown from strength to strength and backed by an experienced and highly successful management team are looking for a Lead Actuary (pre-dominantly pricing) to lead a small but growing function working across including areas of casualty, property, complex risks and other niche products.
This role has the capacity to move into a Chief Actuary in the next 18 months and will be working very closely with the Board and be part of strategic decision making for the Group.
Experience:
Entrepreneurial relatively newly qualified actuary or an experienced actuary looking to lead a team in a growing business.Experience with statistical modelling (e.g. Python, R, etc.) and actuarial toolsets (e.g. pricing, reserving or capital modelling software)Some direct experience in delegated authority business and Lloyd’s/London market experience is desirable but not essential.
