IT Project Manager

A leading global insurance business has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join a dynamic IT team and be responsible for supporting a range of projects focused on security, cloud and Digital Transformation. (Azure, Office365, IT Security)

Key Responsibilities

Support the management of all phases of a project from initiation through to completion, including project close-down and handover into business as usual.Capturing requirements for all projects up front and agreeing approach, with a focus on success factors and MoSCoW prioritsationVendor selection, contract reviews and legal approvalEngaging with IT and security teams to formulate and deliver roadmapsPreparing design submissions for TDASupport the delivery of all assigned projects to agreed scope, time, cost and qualitySupport the development of the business case, resource plans, schedules and budgets for assigned projectsAssist in the management of internal and third-party project resources to ensure that they are working effectively to deliver project outcomesManage and mitigate project risks and issues to reduce impacts on deliverySupport the creation of project management processes, procedures and tools, and provide guidance on best use of project management disciplines and approaches in order to build a strong IT change functionProvide support to peers, managers, sponsors and project staff when needed in order to ensure project success and build stronger delivery capabilities

Essential Skills / Experience

Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience and at least 4 years within an IT environment focusing on (Azure, Office365, IT Security)Experience of working on security related IT projectsKnowledge of security and regulatory frameworks such as NiST, ISO27001End to end cyber security project experienceA good understanding of the technical challenges faced by a global businessExperience of working with Agile delivery methods with Kanban and Scrum teams
