A growing global brokerage has an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Technical Analyst to join a dynamic security team to plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities relating to information security.
The role will work in collaboration with the change team, business application support and a number of third party vendors in addition to the main infrastructure outsources partner.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Support the Global Head of Information Security and Information Security Architect in maintaining the cyber security strategy
Working with third party vendors in managing and maintaining the Group’s cyber security platforms
Operate and maintain security tools and services
Act as a technical escalation point for third party vendors during project deploymentsProvide technical feedback to security policy queries and escalationsBuild close relationships with key internal users, senior managers and external suppliers
Coordinate security plans with third party vendors and ensure output from IT security services delivered by third parties is acted upon accordingly
Responsible for ensuring the status of all patching, AV and security updates across the group estate
Responsible for management of cyber events, including notification, escalation, response and post incident review
Vulnerability checks using multiple intelligence gathering sources and provide written summaries of threat and vulnerability information
Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary standards, practices, procedures and methods
Adhere to company and regulatory policies, procedures together with mandatory training requirements.
Essential Skills / Experience
Proven experience in cyber security
Proven experience in third party supplier and vendor selection and management
Significant experience and success in managing multiple issues, problems and work streams with a clear ability to prioritise
Proven ability to assist with and see and see through implementation and operation and technology solutions for complex projects IT operational and platform knowledge
Understanding of general information security concepts and principals
Ability to consider the bigger picture, including the implications of process change and potential impact upon the strategies of the group business
Maintain the integrity of process and approach, as well as controls, for the whole incident management process including the ability to co-ordinate and manage major/highly sensitive investigations with potential for business wide impact/reputational damage
IT Service Management Experience
Experience working with outsourced service providersExtensive experience managing third party vendors against a range of KPI’s and SLA’s
Cyber Security
Experience of managing cyber security services specifically in relation to service design and on-going management
Previous experience with Microsoft, VMware and Cyber technologies
Experience supporting networks (WAN/LAN/VPN) would be an advantage
