A leading Lloyd's insurer has an urgent 6 month contract (Inside IR35) requirement for a Business Systems Analyst/Application Support/SQL support.
Detailed application experience of Microsoft SQL database management systemsDetailed experience of web server technologies such as IISDetailed knowledge of macros and development/programming languages such as, C#, VB, .netStrong experience with Excel, SQL, Python, R, and other data analytics toolsWorking knowledge of Windows desktop and server environmentsFunctional knowledge of Insurance principles, processes and terminologyStrong ability to work independently and as a part of a small team
Office365/Microsoft365 and Azure managementExperience with azure native cloud technologies and services, including data servicesUnderstanding of Modern SharePoint management, workflows and administration.Experience across Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI and Power Apps)Experience of core Managing Agency applications such as Policy Administration Systems, Bordereaux management, Actuarial modelling, Exposure Management systems, Claims and FinanceDetailed understanding of London Market systems and bureau processDetailed experience in designing and implementing controls suited to a regulated and audited environmentexperience of industry best practices across support, product development and project delivery (ITIL, Prince2, Agile, Scrum etc…)Understanding of Cloud technologies and application architectureUnderstanding of Solution architecture and design principles
